REDUCE BY BASE BRANDS
MAKING THE MOST OF A SMALL FOOTPRINT WITH AN ALL-IN-ONE SOLUTION
Reduce by Base Brands has been listed as the highest-ranked private company experiencing exponential growth in the states. Founded in 2006 with its first innovation, WaterWeek, the company has launched more eco-friendly drinkware. Reduce was looking for a fun, fresh space with a small footprint. Corporate Environments and AD Studio led the design strategy to help the client achieve an open one-stop shop workplace. The unique aspect of this project was the complete package solution, including DIRTT walls, technology, and furniture.
TECHNOLOGY
Base Brands had several obstacles when it came to technology. The new location did not have any network or server room, and they needed full technology integration from door access to video conference ability within the rooms. Corporate Environments installed a full network server room closet providing an enterprise Wi-Fi system to allow an internal and guest network. All the technology is integrated into the ceiling, walls, and tables for a clean look with easy access for repairs and upgrades. Corporate Environments provided cameras, speakers, and a similar integration into the tables and walls within their creative spaces. Still, they opted to add a Viewsonic Touchscreen, allowing their team to “write” on anything from PDF to PowerPoint LIVE.
Reduce came to us looking to relocate into a space that was modern and would motivate employees to come back to the office. Their vision was to blend the finishes and have a flexible space interactive space that is not only aesthetically pleasing, but technology driven. The challenge was speed of construction and making sure we built the space with integrated technology, state of the art design in a condensed schedule. The solution included Technology, furniture and DIRTT which allowed the CE teams to coordinate and produce a beautiful functional space that thrives with creativity.
FURNITURE
CE managed the entire process, from the engineering, design, installation, training, and follow-up services. Because of its exponential growth over the years, the client was concerned about hiring more people. The CE and AD studio team created an easily reconfigurable layout within the 6,500 square feet of space for future changes. The new space included 9to5 seating conference chairs, Bernhardt lounge furniture, Grand Rapids chairs, Enwork meeting table, and Artopex workstations and private offices. With the blend in manufacturer lines, Corporate Environments and AD Studio provided solutions with height adjustable for sit to stand flexibility, Phone Booths for privacy, and even a shuffleboard table for employees to use.
